How It All Began
A Summer Evening by the Sea
It was a warm summer evening by the sea when Kate and Mario first met brought together by a mutual friend who would later stand beside them as one of their wedding witnesses. What began as a chance encounter under the Italian sun became one of life’s most beautiful stories.
The proposal, when it came, was completely unexpected. Mario had planned everything in secret a scene of red roses and pampas grass by the waterside, romantic and perfectly composed. And when he got down on one knee, the emotion of that moment became one Kate will carry with her always.
The Ceremony
A Church Adorned in White Roses
The religious ceremony took place in the beautiful village of Rotonda the beating heart of the Pollino National Park and the hometown of the couple. The Chiesa Madre della Natività di Maria Vergine was refined and classy, its entrance adorned with a majestic arch of precious white roses. At the sides of the entrance, guests found wedding bags, soap bubbles, fans, and order-of-service booklets all coordinated and arranged with grace by @carpediem.eventi.
The groom arrived first, resplendent in a bespoke Italian navy suit, taking his place beside his four witnesses. Then came the page boys and flower girls, impeccably dressed. And then, accompanied by a gentle rendition of Hallelujah on violin and harp, Kate appeared breathtaking in an original Chantilly French lace gown with a long veil, escorted by two small page boys. Emotion after emotion, until the long-awaited Sì.

The Reception Tenute Ferrocinto
Where the Icons of Style Come to Life
The celebration continued at Tenute Ferrocinto and it was here that the event reached its fullest splendour. An estate immersed in green, surrounded by vineyards that command the landscape, with a truly breathtaking panorama. The atmosphere was that of the great events.
The theme of the evening was the great icons of style those who have marked the world of fashion and beyond. Everything was curated in the finest detail: the mise en place, the tables, the flowers, the crystal chandeliers. Extraordinarily refined.
A Journey Through Taste
From the Aperitivo to the Wine Cellar
Guests were invited on a true gastronomic journey beginning with the aperitivo and concluding with a tasting in the wine cellar. The catering, entrusted to Camil Catering, was an explosion of refined and sophisticated flavours, paired with the prestigious wines of the Ferrocinto estate.
Music, Sparkle & Style
A Night That Had No Intention of Ending
The evening was animated by Italian and international artists from Mikevents, whose musical performances swept every guest into a superlative party filled with dancing, emotion, and unforgettable moments. Pyrotechnic spectacles lit up the dinner with dazzling displays of colour and surprise, while the photo booths always with a fashion touch delighted guests throughout the night.
The Details That Made It Theirs
Nothing Left to Chance
Refinement began even before the day itself in the stationery. The invitations were crafted on handmade Amalfi cotton paper, a precious material with a natural and sophisticated texture, capable of conveying value, tradition and authenticity from the very first touch. The character and personality of the couple emerged in the gold wax seal, personalised with their initials and a bespoke logo created by Lisalab a distinctive element that made this project exclusive, recognisable, and profoundly theirs.

The Second Act
Pearls, Feathers & a Champagne Tower
As the night deepened, the couple made their much-anticipated outfit change. Kate appeared in a gown of pearls and feathers pure celebration while Mario wore a white dinner jacket. Laughter, dancing, champagne towers. A fairy tale that had no intention of ending.

Live It Fully It Will Never Come Again
When asked what she would say to other couples planning their wedding, Kate’s answer was simple and beautiful: “I would advise you to live this moment with serenity and enjoy everything fully because it is a unique moment that will never come again. And above all, remember that a wedding is a representation of the couple, so the choices must be made together, without listening too much to the many external opinions.”
