A Journey of Growth and Resilience
Myrthe began her pageant journey in 2024, competing in Miss Beauty of North Brabant. Although she did not place that year, she chose not to give up. Instead, she took time to reflect and return stronger.
Soon after, she entered Miss Aura Netherlands a transformative 3–4 month experience focused on self-development. That journey proved life-changing. At the final, she was crowned:

Miss Charity 2025
First Runner-Up Miss Aura Netherlands
But the biggest surprise was yet to come she was awarded the international title of Miss Intercelestial Netherlands 2026.
“It felt amazing,” she shares. “My hard work was truly rewarded.”
Overcoming Self-Doubt
Like many young women in competitive spaces, Myrthe’s biggest challenge was not external it was internal.
“My biggest obstacle was my own self-image,” she explains. “I kept comparing myself to other girls, thinking they performed better.”
Through the journey, something shifted. Encouragement from fellow contestants helped her recognize her own strengths.
“Everyone is unique. Everyone has their own qualities. Just be yourself.”
It is this realization that became her true victory.
More Than a Crown
While pageantry plays an important role in her life, Myrthe also balances a career in healthcare and works as a model. Fashion and modeling, she says, bring her joy and allow her to express herself creatively.
Managing it all requires planning and discipline especially as she prepares for her international competition in May 2026.
Her next destination? Indonesia, where she will represent the Netherlands on the global stage.
A Voice for Safety and Empowerment
Beyond beauty and titles, Myrthe stands firmly behind meaningful causes. She is deeply committed to the initiative “Do You Feel Safe?”, which raises awareness against all forms of intimidation.
“I believe everyone deserves to feel safe,” she says.
She has shared her own story to support this mission and continues working with new Miss Aura finalists, guiding them on their journeys of self-development.
Looking Ahead
Currently, Myrthe is focused on nutrition, fitness, and preparing mentally and physically for her international competition.
But her message to young women remains simple and powerful:
“Just go for it. You only live once. People will always have an opinion — never change for someone else. You are enough.”
